6th May 2008 (Tuesday) is the birthday of His Holiness, the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinlay Thaye Dorje, the Supreme head of our lineage. Our abbot, Venerable Shangpa Rinpoche will be leading us in the long life prayer to His Holiness. We cordially invite everyone to participate in the prayer to wish His Holiness good health and long life. May His Holiness turn the wheel of Dharma for all sentient beings till Samsara ends.

We are conducting Animal Life Liberation on 3rd of May 2008 as part of the celebrations. Registration is $20 including the boat fee and transport to and from KKBC. This event starts at 12.30 pm.
