喇嘛善殿将开班教导佛学班,从初 级、中级至高级班。课程将以华语讲解。 这一系列的课程是转为青少年和成年人所设的。 参加者必须事先登记。为了能完整及彻底理解所教授的佛法,每堂 学员都应尽量出席。 届时, 将备有讲义供 参考。登记费用 :成员$10和非成 员$15。

初级班的内容包括:释迦牟尼佛的 生平故事和佛的一些过去世的故 事,宝贵人身,三宝(佛法僧), 因和果,六道轮回,首三波罗蜜 (布施,戒律和忍辱)。

中级班的内容涵盖:四圣谛,十二因缘,后三波罗蜜(精进,禅定和智慧),菩提心的培养及简介止和观的修法。

Lama Samten will be conducting a series of classes on Buddhism starting from Beginners level, Intermediate level and up to Advanced Level.

The classes will be conducted in Mandarin. These series of classes are targeted at teenagers and adults.

Registration is compulsory and students are advised not to miss the classes in order to gain a complete and thorough understanding of the teachings. Materials will be prepared for students in the class.

Registration fee for members and non-members are $10 and $15 respectively.

Topics covered in the Beginner class includes The Life Story of Buddha Shakyamuni, some past life stories of the Buddha, The Precious Human Body, The 3 Jewels (Buddha, Dharma and Sangha), Cause and Effect, The Six Realms of Samsara, and The First 3 Paramitas (Generosity, Morality and Patience).

In the Intermediate class, topics covered includes The Four Noble Truths, The 12 Links of Interdependent Origination, The Last 3 Paramitas (Diligence, Meditation and Transcendental Wisdom), Bodhicitta Cultivation, Brief Teachings on Shamatha and Vipassana.

Topics covered for the Advanced class includes Bodhisattva's Learning, The Middle Path, Mind- Only, and Buddha Nature.

Lama Samten is an experienced dharma teacher who is precise and candid in his deliverance. He makes the teachings informal and ‘localized’ thus allowing us to grasp the topics more easily. All are welcome!
