There are 3 types of generosity: 1. Gift of Wealth, 2. Gift of Life or Protection, 3. Gift of Dharma.
The sponsorship of a Dharma Event with a selfless motivation is extremely meritorious, especially if the
event is beneficial to all sentient beings, such as the Mani Dungdrub Project.
Without sponsorship, it might not even be possible to hold the Mani Dungdrub Project and even if it were held, it would be hard
to run the event smoothly. This is a gift of wealth and indirectly also of Dharma.
You may help by contributing towards the following categories:
- Sangha Offerings
- Puja Offering items
- Meals
- Publication/ Advertisement
- General Expenses
In addition, you may also make lamp offerings to Avalokiteshvara during the event and contribute towards animal liberation as well. Animal liberation
would be done on the Lunar Vesak Day 19th May 2008. This is the gift of life and also of protection towards the animals.
