| The events we have organized for our centre's 25th anniversary have come to an end. Thank you all for your support, especially the many devotees from other countries such as Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Canada who came to Singapore specially for this event. We also wish to acknowledge the help of all the volunteers who selflessly contributed so much time and effort towards making the event a success. | ||
| His Holiness was in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) from 17/10/2006 to 28/10/2006 and in Penang (Malaysia) from 1/11/2006 to 6/11/2006 and Kuching (Malaysia) from 6/11/2006 to 11/11/2006. Sojong, taking of the 8 Mahayana Precepts for one day and a formal confession,
cultivates a deliberate effort to be more mindful of one's habitual tendencies.
By developing compassion and bodhicitta, Buddha nature will be awaken.
Sojong is particularly useful for busy people.
It is simple but meaningful and can be easily done at home or at work.

Change in Administration at KKBC | |
| Mdm Lim Siew Kheng has left the post of Administrator of KKBC since 1st July 2006. We warmly wish her all the best in her future endeavours and thank her for her effort in serving KKBC for so many years. Mdm Brenda Chiang, Mdm Wong May Yoke and Mdm Evelyn Wong are now taking turns to take care of the administration of KKBC. The new operating hours are as follows: Every Monday to Saturday - 4 pm to 7 pm Sundays and Public Holidays - Closed except for functions or programme at the Centre. | ||
