Amitayus Empowerment

Khenpo Tashi Woeser

Khenpo Tashi Woeser graduated from the Vikrama Shilla Buddhist Institute and Sakya College under the supervision of Venerables Shangpa Rinpoche and Dupseng Rinpoche.   Received major lineage teachings from Ven. Khenpo Chodrak Rinpoche.   In 2011, with his acquired knowledge in Buddhist Philosophy and qualification, he was officially appointed as Khenpo in Jangchup Choeling Monastery whereby he continually teaches major buddhist texts in Vikrama Shilla Buddhist Institute.   With his excellent endeavours, he had acquired numerous honorary certificates from the University of the Philippines, Sakya College, BPP, MDC, and the Government of Nepal.    Currently, Khenpo Tashi Woeser is also a member of the Executive Committee of JCM looking over and taking care of running its operational affairs.

5-Years Course - Teachings Announcement:
Nagarjuna’s Letter to a Friend

Dear Members, Devotees and Dharma Friends,

Starting in April, we have cordially invited Khenpo Tashi Woser of Jangchub Choeling Monastery to teach the above-mentioned subject.

Kindly keep a lookout, as it will be a 3 days per week teaching for a period of 4 weeks.

Registrations in KKBC and on-line will be made available once the official announcement and posters are in place.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding.

Teaching Dates: Every Tuesday, Friday (8pm to 9:30pm) and Saturday (3pm to 4:30pm), with spontaneous chinese translation, starting from 03Apr to 28Apr.

Sri Lanka Pilgrimage with Venerable Shangpa Rinpoche la.

Dear Members, Devotees and Dharma Friends,

We are happy to announce that the Sri Lanka Pilgrimage will be tentatively set on the date 01 June 2018 to 11 June 2018 (30pax including Sanghas), for your kind arrangement of your time schedule in order to make this trip possible for you.

However, we will not be accepting any reservations and registrations until official announcement has been released.

Arrangements are still in the process of finalising details with the travel agents, as well as many other administrative.

We thank you for your excitement and enthusiasm with regards to participating in this pilgrimage with Rinpoche la, we would like to seek your patience and understanding, while we try to finalise every details.

Dear Participants, Devotees and Members,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Rinpoche la had to reschedule his teachings for the Four Preliminary Foundations as follows:
06Mar, 09Mar, 13Mar and 15Mar.

27Mar and 30Mar will be cancelled with new date 15Mar inserted. (Refunds are available for those whom had made prior payments)

The contents of the teachings will not be affected, as Rinpoche la will squeeze everything in these 04 days of teachings.
Recording will also be made available at a later stage for those whom had paid but were unable to attend.

We shall also introduce contemplation classes for these preliminary foundation practices on every Monday as a group practice from 8pm at Level 05 Meditation Hall.

All are welcomed.

Vajra Master for “Ching Ming” Amitabha JangChod Puja

Venerable Lama Khedup Rinpoche was born in the year 1955, in West Tibet. At the age of twelve, he was ordained by Venerable Drudsing Rinpoche and took the novice monk vows from HH 16th Gyalwa Karmapa. He also continue his ritual training at the monastry.

In the year 1973, Lama Rinpoche entered the renowned Sanskrit University in India and spent nine years to pursue his studies of Buddhist Philosophy and other buddhist training. Upon completion of his studies, he was awarded the Archarya Degree which is equivalent to Master of Art (M.A.).

In 1985, he joined the Rumtek Retreat Centre to perform the traditional Six Yoga of Naropa Retreat for 3 years and 8 months. After the completion of the Retreat, he went back to Pokhara and became the Vajra and Discipline Master of Jangchub Choling Monastery until 1993.

In 1993, H.H. Kunzig Shamarpa Rinpoche sent him to Kuala Lumpur Karma Kagyu Dharma Society in Malaysia as resident master and also to promote Buddhist teaching.

Currently he is the Resident Master of Karma Karuna Buddhist Centre, Lunas, Kedah and Karma Norbuling Buddhist Centre, Alma, Bukit Mertajam. He is also the Religious Advisor for Sungai Petani Karma Kagyud Buddhist Centre since 1998.
